This booklet was published by Comme des Garçons in 1998. Its precise intended subject remains unknown, which, together with its unconventional format, makes it an item of exceptional rarity. The cover image of the cat was created by renowned hair and makeup artist Katsuya Kamo, and the volume opens with a foreword by photographer and journalist Kyoichi Tsuzuki, best known for publishing “Happy Victims”. Although no editorial credit is given, the booklet is thought to have been edited by Tsuzuki as well.
It includes portrait features of the following artists, designers, and companies:
Chia Pang Sun, Naomi Sento, Makoto Nomura, Kanae Uchiyama, Katsuya Terada, Strange Kinoko Dance Company, Tycoon Graphics, and Kazue Mizushima.
The portrait photographs were taken by Masayuki Yoshinaga.
The publication comprises 24 pages in total, including the cover, produced from a single oversized sheet of paper measuring 59.5 × 120 cm, cut with a single horizontal slit across the center and folded down into book form. This distinctive binding method is reminiscent of formats often seen in Japanese dōjinshi (self-published works).
It was never made available for sale and did not circulate through regular distribution channels.
