As you may know, The World of Interiors is internationally acclaimed as one of the most pioneering and aesthetically sophisticated publications in the realm of interior art. Within this context, the opportunity to express the visual world of COMME des GARÇONS—beyond the traditional boundaries of fashion—was both an inspiring challenge and a valuable experience.
The special issue, titled Interior Worlds: The Year 2000, features contributions from 23 artists, designers, gallery directors, and writers—including Rei Kawakubo, Vivienne Westwood, Bruce Weber, David Hockney, and Miuccia Prada—each of whom was asked to select three favorite objects or images. These personal selections form the editorial foundation of the supplement.
