The 10th issue of WERK, a visual magazine from Singapore. Graphic designer Theseus Chan and art director Marina Lim collaborate with artists and companies such as Comme des Garçons to create attractive pages for each issue. This book is a collaboration issue with the popular select shop “Colette” that used to be in Paris. When you open the cover that looks like it’s been torn apart, you’ll find a documentary photo of the 2004 limited-time shop “colette meets COMME des GARÇONS” by Colette and Comme des Garçons, taken by Eisuke Fukumochi (go relax E more) + Yukinori Ishiguro (go relax E more). Includes graphic work by Leslie Kee and collaboration works by Ed Tsuwaki.
Theseus Chanは、独創性あふれるインディペンデント・マガジン『WERK（ヴェルク）』で知られています。2000年に創刊された『WERK』は、毎号800～1,000部限定で制作されており、１部ごとに表情が異なるほど手の込んだものです。
このテセウス・チャン流の手法を一語に畳み込むのが、「極限」「極端な手段」「身体の先端部分（＝四肢、指先、つま先、鼻、耳）」を意味する“Extremities”なのです。
